Gt. Daniel Kwadjo Teye

Gt. Daniel Kwadjo Teye is a Chartered Architect and the Founder and Managing Director of Bricklane Development Group (an architectural and engineering consultancy firm). He has about 20 years of experience combining practical and responsive design solutions to deliver fun and delightful projects. He excels at designs that shape behavior and provides full-on experiences. Some of his designs that have attracted national and international recognition include Safari Valley Resorts and Aqua Safari, among others. His company Bricklane conducted a Facilities Assessment of all the built infrastructure at GSTS and is working on the school’s infrastructural Masterplan. He will share some of the significant findings of the assessment and progress on the GSTS Infrastructural Masterplan.

Giant Daniel Kwadjo Teye completed his O ’Levels and A ‘Levels in 1993 and 1995, respectively, and was in Noble Aryee House. In his eight years at GSTS, he served in many capacities, including House Secretary, Garden Boss, Class Prefect, Dorm Boss, Robe Master, Choir President, and Assistant Chapel Prefect. In addition, he was a member of the Quiz Club, the school choir, Timbrels singing group, among others.

At KNUST, he became the Organizer and later served as President of the GSTS Alumni Association on Campus in his fourth year. In addition, he joined the Accra chapter of the GSTS Old Boys Association and helped organize the Association’s activities from 2004-2010. In December 2018, he was appointed President of the Accra Chapter.

In his 93-O year group, he served as its Vice President member of the projects committee and Speech Day planning committee, while in his 95-A Year group, he served as its Projects Secretary. Within the GAA Global structure, he is on several platforms, including the Projects and Infrastructure Committee, the GAA General Assembly, GAA Anniversary Committee, GAA Master Planning Sub-Committee, GAA Portal Group Administrators, GAA Headmaster Search Committee, among others. He joined the enviable GAA Founders Circle at the Oval Society level in 2019 during the 110-anniversary celebrations. 

Gt. Teye was elected General Secretary in 2021 and is serving his second term in the same capacity. He lives in Accra with his wife and children.
