About The Speaker
Gt. Francis Kobina Entwi Appah
Gt. Francis Kobina Entwi Appah completed GSTS in 2004. As one of the long-serving members of Global Executives, his contribution to the Association is unquantifiable. As a talented graphic designer, he leads a team of capable young Giants to produce all the posters and graphic designs for the chapters, year groups, and the global Association. As a consummate photographer, he has recorded probably 1000s of hours of GAA activities over the past ten or more years, including the recent visits of the Global President to chapters in Ghana, Speech and Prize-giving days, and homecoming events. To say he is the repository of GAA history in photos and video would be an understatement. He will share some of his documentation with us and plans to produce a historical documentary about GSTS for its 115th Anniversary in 2024.
Gt. Appah is a Past President of the 2004 group. He was a member of Weston House and offered a technical course with the Building Construction option. Currently resident in Takoradi, He is a professional photographer and a creative graphics designer. He owns two businesses (Manna Plus & Abapa Mfonyigraphy). He also manages our social media pages, including our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Pages.
Gt. Appah has served on numerous GAA committees and platforms; notable among them is the Secretary of the GAA General Assembly. He is also a member of the Marketing and Publicity, Events, and Planning Committees and administrator of all GAA social media platforms. He has also served on the Robotics Planning, Quiz Team, History, and GAA Orientation ad hoc committees. He just began his second term as the 1st Deputy General Secretary. Gt. Appah lives in Takoradi with his wife and young son.
